Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá drogovým konfliktem v Mexiku od počátku vzniku až po současnou situaci. Cílem práce je kromě vysvětlení celého problému i analýza Války proti drogám, která byla započata roku 2006 a trvá dodnes. Analyzovány jsou kroky dvou posledních prezidentů a jejich souvislost s vývojem ukazatelů, které se vztahují k drogovému konfliktu. Kromě samotné analýzy práce obsahuje definici a vysvětlení důležitých pojmů, jako je organizovaný zločin a drogový kartel. Dále jsou popsána historická východiska, která vedla k současnému stavu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the drug conflict in Mexico from its beginning to the present situation. The aim of the thesis is not only to explain whole problem but also to analyse the War on drug. This war originated in 2006 and has lasted to the present day. The analysis examines actions of last two presidents and their effect on indicators related to the drug conflict. Beside analysis itself, the thesis contains definition and explanation of important terms such as organized crime and drug cartel. It also describes historical roots of the situation.
