Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce, nesoucí název Střet civilizací, se zabývá střety, konflikty mezi příslušníky západní civilizace a příslušníky civilizací ostatních, především se zaměřením na civilizaci islámskou. A to konkrétně v souvislosti se zvyšující se migrací těchto příslušníků do Evropy. Hlavním důvodem pro zvolení tohoto tématu je jeho aktuálnost a dopad na naší civilizaci. V první části budu definovat základní pojmy, vyskytující se v problematice střetu civilizací. Dále se budu zabývat charakteristikou křesťanství a následně také islámské víry. V další části této práce se již budu věnovat migraci. A to převážně migraci muslimů a ukrajinských uprchlíků do Evropy. V poslední kapitole se budu věnovat samotnému střetu civilizací a jeho vysvětlením pro pochopení této práce.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis, entitled The Clash of Civilizations, examines clashes and conflicts between the members of Western civilization and the members of other civilizations, predominantly focusing on the people of Islam. Specifically, it discusses this clash in the context of migration of muslims into Europe. The main reason for choosing this topic is its embeddednes in contemporary academic discourse as well as its impact on society as a whole. In the first part, the thesis characterises Christianity and Islam, which then provides theoretical grounding for the analysis of migration in the following section. Regarding migration, the thesis aims to describe the migration of muslims and Ukrainian refugees. In the last section, the thesis will provide an application of the concept of the clash of civilizations to specific conditions and a corresponding conclusion connecting it to this work.
