Abstract:

HORT, Martin. Analýza finanční situace hotelu. [Bakalářská práce] Vysoká škola hotelová. Praha: 2018. 61. stran Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou finanční situace Wellness Hotelu Frymburk v účetních obdobích 2012 až 2016. Ze všeho nejdříve je v teoreticko-metodologické části definován hotel, finanční analýza, kdo a proč se zajímá o finanční situaci hotelu. Poté jsou v této kapitole vypsány a podrobněji popsány účetní výkazy, které je možno použít k následné analýze. Poslední část této kapitoly je věnována metodám finanční analýzy. Pro analýzu této společnosti jsou vybrány horizontální analýza, vertikální analýza a poměrové ukazatele. Díky horizontální analýze můžeme pozorovat meziroční trend jednotlivých položek účetních výkazů. Následuje vertikální analýza, která nám umožňuje se na položky dívat z pohledu jejich podílu na celku účetního výkazu. Poslední z metod finanční analýzy jsou poměrové ukazatele, díky kterým je možno vypočítat například likviditu společnosti. V analytické kapitole jsou použity nabité vědomosti z teoreticko-metodologické kapitoly, které jsou implementovány do účetních výkazů námi analyzované společnosti. V horizontální analýze se věnujeme hlavně provozní činnosti výkazu zisku a ztráty. Dále pak ve vertikální analýze nás nejvíce zajímá podíl cizího kapitál na celkových pasivech rozvahy. Po použití metod finanční analýzy na základní účetní výkazy podniku je zjištěno, že hotel má příliš velký cizí kapitál, který se naštěstí pro hotel každým dalším účetním obdobím přibližuje k vlastnímu kapitálu. Aktiva podniku jsou z valné většiny tvořena dlouhodobým hmotným majetkem. Což je v tomto odvětví v pořádku. Dále je odhaleno, že výsledek hospodaření za účetní období je v každém účetním období ziskový, a od roku 2014 do konce analyzovaného období má dokonce tendenci vzrůstu ziskovosti, hlavně díky provoznímu výsledku hospodaření. Provozní výsledek zaznamenal každým dalším rokem vyšší hodnotu. Nakonec díky poslední metodě finanční analýzy, poměrovým ukazatelům jsou zjištěny u většiny ukazatelů příliš nízké koncové hodnoty. Doporučuji navýšení hodnot u všech ukazatelů vyjma ukazatele zadluženosti a ukazatele úrokového krytí. Dále doba splatnosti pohledávek a doba splatnosti krátkodobých závazků by měla být sobě podobná. To se bohužel v námi analyzovaném období ani jednou nestalo. V návrhové části jsou zrekapitulovány největší problémy společnosti a na tyto problémy se poté pokoušíme navrhnout adekvátní řešení, která by mohla zlepšit finanční situaci do budoucna. V závěru je shrnuto, čeho bylo v této bakalářské práci dosáhnuto.

HORT, Martin. Analysis of financial situation in the hotel [Bachelor´s Dissertation] The Institute of Hospitality Management. Praha: 2018. 61. pages In this bachelor thesis, we are going to analyse the financial situation of Wellness Hotel Frymburk in the accounting periods from 2012 to 2016. First of all, in the theoretical and methodological part, we define hotel, financial analysis, why and who is interested in the financial situation of the hotel. Additionally, this chapter is listed and described in detail financial statements, which may be used for subsequent analysis. For analysis of the company, we have selected horizontal analysis and vertical analysis ratios. Thanks to the horizontal analysis, we can observe the year-on-year trend of the individual items of the financial statements. Due to the horizontal analysis, we can observe the year-on-year trend of the individual items of the financial statements. Following is a vertical analysis that allows us to look at items in terms of their share of the financial statement. The last of the financial analysis methods are ratios, which can be used to calculate, the liquidity of the company, for instance. In the analytical chapter, we are going to use all the knowledge of the theoretical and methodological chapter and implement them in the accounting statements of our company. Whereas, in the horizontal analysis we mainly focus on the operating activities of the profit and loss account. Hereafter, in the vertical analysis, we are most interested in the share of foreign capital in the total liabilities of the balance sheet. Consequently, after applying the financial analysis methods to the company's basic financial statements, it has been found that the hotel has too much foreign capital, fortunately, for the hotel. Every fortnight is close to its own capital. Most of the assets of the enterprise consist of tangible fixed assets. Which is alright in this industry. Furthermore, it is revealed that the profit for the accounting period is profitable in each accounting period and, even from 2014 until the end of the analysed period, even tends to increase profitability. Mainly due to the operating result of the economy. The operating result recorded a higher value each year. Finally, thanks to the latest method of financial analysis, ratios are found to be too low for most indicators. I recommend an increase in the values for all indicators, excluding the debt ratio and interest coverage indicators. Moreover, the maturity of receivables and the maturity of short-term liabilities should be similar. Unfortunately, this did not happen in the period we have analysed. In the design part, the biggest problems of the company will be recapitulated, and then I will propose the appropriate solutions that could improve the financial situation in the future. In conclusion, we summarize what has been achieved in this bachelor thesis.
