Relation of mathematics to music
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá výzkumem vztahu matematiky k hudbě. První část práce se soustředí na analyzování základních matematických principů a jejich aplikace v hudbě, matematiku nenalézáme jen v intervalech a zvuku, ale také v notovém zápisu. Druhá část se zaměřuje na skladatele, kteří svá díla obohacovali o matematické principy.
Abstract:
This bachelor's thesis explores the relationship between mathematics and music. The first part of the thesis focuses on analysing basic mathematical principles and their application in music, mathematics is not only found in intervals and sound, but also in musical notation. The second part focuses on composers who enriched their works with mathematical principles.
