S-packing colouring of circulant graphs

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na S-pakovací barvení. Nechť S = (a_1, a_2, . . .) je neklesající posloupnost přirozených čísel. Funkci, která přiřazuje vrcholům grafu G barvy reprezentované přirozenými čísly tak, že vrcholy obarvené barvou i musí být ve vzdálenosti větší než a_i, nazveme S-pakovacím barvením grafu G. Nejmenší přirozené číslo k, pro které existuje S-pakovací barvení grafu G pomocí k barev, nazveme S-pakovacím chromatickým číslem. Tato práce je rozdělena na dvě části. První část zpracovává vybrané známé výsledky v oblasti S-pakovacího barvení. Druhá část této práce je pak zaměřena na vlastní výzkum v oblasti S-pakovacího barvení kubických cirkulantů pomocí sekvencí S ve tvaru (1, 1, 2, 2, 2, . . .), (1, 2, 2, 2, . . .) a (2, 2, 2, . . .).

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on an S-packing colorings of graphs. Let S = (a_1, a_2, . . .) be a non-decreasing sequence of positive integers. A mapping which assigns colors represented by positive integers to vertices of a graph G such that vertices with color i have mutual distance greater than a_i is called an S-packing coloring of the graph G. The smallest integer k such that there exists an S-packing coloring of G using k colors is called the S-packing chromatic number. This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part sumarizes some known results on the S-packing colorings. The second part of this thesis is focused on own research on the S-packing coloring of cubic circulant graphs using sequences S = (1, 1, 2, 2, 2, . . .), S = (1, 2, 2, 2, . . .) and S = (2, 2, 2, . . .).
