Computer malware and the destructive tendencies in art

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Počítačový malware a destruktivní tendence v umění“ se zabývá spojitostmi mezi malwarem a destruktivními díly, která se v umění začínají v hojnější míře objevovat v druhé polovině 20. století. V první části se zaměří na počítačový malware, jeho typické znaky, druhy a vývoj. V druhé části se věnuje destruktivní umělecké tvorbě objevující se po roce 1950 a popisuje typy, tendence a teoretická východiska destruktivních uměleckých děl. Ve třetí části pak provede srovnání podobností a rozdílů malwaru a destruktivního umění.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis „Computer malware and the destructive tendencies in art” is focused on similarities between the malware and destructive creations which started occurring more frequently in the second half of the twentieth century. The first part of the thesis is focused on the malware, the types of malware, the typical signs, tendencies and the development. The second part is focused on the destructive art which is occurring after 1950 and describes the types, tendencies and the theoretical grounds of the destructive art creations. In the third part the comparison of the differences and similarities between the malware and the destructive art is done.
