The effect of air temperature in the barn on the milk yield parameters of dairy cows of Czech spotted cattle in a specific breeding

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je analyzovat vliv teploty vzduchu na parametry mléčné užit-kovosti dojnic českého strakatého skotu v konkrétním chovu. Mezi parametry mléčné užitko-vosti byly zahrnuty především dojivost (kg mléka), pořadí laktace (n), fáze laktace (dny) a obsah mléčných složek (% tuku a % bílkovin). Pozorování probíhalo v období od ledna do prosince 2022. Údaje o parametrech mléčné užitkovosti byly získány z výsledků Kontroly užitkovosti (KU). Celkem bylo vyhodnoceno 7 863 individuálních případů (dojnic). V průběhu sledování byla pomocí teplotně-vlhkostního čidla (HOBO) zjišťována teplota stá-jového vzduchu (°C), relativní vlhkost vzduchu (%). Z výsledků vyplynulo, že teplota neměla statisticky průkazně vliv na dojivost, fázi a pořadí laktace. Naopak byly zjištěny průkazné rozdíly v obsahu mléčných složek, kterými byl tuk a bílkovina (P < 0,01). V případě relativní vlhkosti byl statisticky průkazný vliv na do-jivost, kdy s rostoucími hodnotami relativní vlhkosti klesala dojivost u sledovaných krav (P < 0,01). Relativní vlhkost ovlivnila také obsah tuku a bílkovin (P < 0,01). V případě THI nebyly statisticky průkazné rozdíly v dojivosti, pořadí laktace a fázi laktace (P > 0,05), ale byly zjiště-ny statisticky průkazné rozdíly v případě mléčných složek (P < 0,01).

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the effect of air temperature on milk yield parameters of dairy cattle in a specific breeding system. The milk yield parameters included milk yield (kg milk), lactation order (n), lactation phase (days) and milk components content (% fat and % protein). The observations were carried out between January and December 2022. Data on milk yield parameters were obtained from the results of the Performance Check (PC). A total of 7 863 individual cases (dairy cows) were evaluated. During the monitoring period, air tem-perature in the stable (°C), relative humidity (%) were collected using a temperature-humidity sensor (HOBO). The results showed that temperature had no statistically significant effect on milk yield, lactation stage and lactation sequence. On the other hand, there were significant differences in the content of milk components, which were fat and protein (P < 0.01). In the case of relative humidity, there was a statistically significant effect on milk yield, where milk yield decreased with increasing values of relative humidity in the cows studied (P < 0.01). Relative humidity also influenced fat and protein content (P < 0.01). In the case of THI, there were no statistically significant differences in milk yield, lactation order and lactation phase (P > 0.05), but statistically significant differences were found for milk components (P < 0.01).
