This work consists of a brief historical summary, mapping of present situation of musicals in The Czech Republic and deals with the problem of the bachelor’s thesis itself, the problem of globalization, uniformity and Americanization of art in the Czech republic. Abstract:
Diplomová práca „Rozmach muzikálu v Českej republike po roku 1989“ obsahuje stručný historický prehľad, zmapovanie súčasnej situácie a tiež sa potýka s problémom globalizácie a uniformizácie umenia v ČR. Autor sa sústreďuje na najväčšie muzikálové produkcie, ich skladateľov a divadlá, kde sa hrajú. Cieľom práce je pochopiť, prečo zažil muzikál taký úspech práve v 90. rokoch.
