History of the Czech Bartenders Association and Its Effect on Contemporary Bar Scene

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjištění vlivu České barmanské asociace na současnou barovou scénu. V úvodu nastiňuji otázku, zdali Česká barmanská asociace vůbec českou barovou scénu ovlivňuje, a pokud ano, tak jakou formou. Následuje historický vývoj České barmanské asociace, včetně vývoje Mezinárodní barmanské asociace, se kterou se nyní ztotožňuje. Dále je rozepsán kompletní statut asociace a její organizační struktura včetně etického kodexu a podmínek pro členství. Další část se zabývá dotazníkovou analýzou rozličných skupin respondentů, ke zjištění významu asociace na gastronomické scéně. Návrhová část práce řeší otázku, jak více ovlivnit barovou scénu na českém území.

Abstract:

The thesis of my bachelor paper is to determine the effect of the Czech Bartender association on Contemporary Bar Scene. In the Introduction I propose a question: Does Czech Bartender association have any effect on Czech bar scene; and if does, in what form? In the next chapter, I describe the development of the Czech Bartender Association, including the development of the International Bartender Association, now posing as a role model. I proceed with describing the organizational structure of the association as well as with its Code of Ethics, and membership conditions. The next section deals with questionnaire analysis of different groups of responders, and tries to determine the importance of the association on Czech gastronomic scene. In the closing part of my paper, I try to determine various way of influencing Czech bartender scene.
