Abstract:

Diplomová práce nazvaná "Využití slovníků ve výuce cizího jazyka na střední odborné škole" se zaměřuje na problémy a možnosti využití různých druhů slovníků na střední odborné škole. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Teoretické část popisuje různé druhy slovníků, strukturu lexikální jednotky a její stylistickou platnost. V praktické části jsou shromážděny, analyzovány a vyhodnoceny informace získané srovnáním prací studentů vypracovaných pomocí tištěných a elektronických slovníků. Cílem práce je definovat výhody a nevýhody práce s různými druhy slovníků, navrhnout alternativy jejich využití ve vyučování a uvést doporučení, jak mohou být nevýhody eliminovány.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis called "The Use of Dictionaries in Foreign Language Teaching at the Secondary Vocational School" focuses on problems and possibilities of the utilization of various types of dictionaries at a secondary vocational school. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes different types of dictionaries, the structure of a lexical entry and its stylistic validity. The practical part summarises, analyses, and evaluates the information gained by comparing the students works when both printed and electronic dictionaries were used. The aim of the diploma thesis is to define advantages and disadvantages of work with various types of dictionaries, suggest the particular alternatives of their application during the lesson and also recommend how the drawbacks can be eliminated.
