The castle as a noble residence on the example of the Lords of Kravaře

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat a analyzovat roli hradů jako středověkých šlechtických sídel na příkladu hradních lokalit, které byly ve 13.-15. století v držení moravského panského rodu pánů z Kravař. Role hradů bude analyzována v kontextu rodových majetkových držav. Pozornost bude věnována jejich rezidenční funkci (mj. s ohledem na užívané predikáty) a dále také jejich hospodářské a vojenské úloze. Důraz bude položen na výpověď písemných pramenů (mj. údaje o purkrabích), zohledněny budou také závěry dosavadních stavebně-historických a archeologických průzkumů. Součástí práce bude zařazení sledované problematiky do kontextu vývoje šlechtických sídel ve středověku v širším prostoru Moravy, resp. českých zemí. Bakalářská práce bude založena na práci s literaturou, edicemi pramenů a podle možnosti i na původním archivním materiálu.

Abstract:

The object of this Bc. thesis is to analyze role of the medieval castles as a nobles mansions. There will be usaage of castles locatios which was in possesion of the Moravian noble family of Kravař during 13th to 15th century as example. Castle roles will be analyze in context of Kravař noble family possesions. Attention will be held to their residential roles and their economical and militant task. Emphasis will be put to statement of literary sources. Exsisting results of building-historical researches and archeological researches will be taken into account. This work will include following of problematics in context of nobles mansions development during medieval times in large area of Moravia respectively area of Czech lands. This Bc. thesis is based on work with literary sources and by options on original archival sources.
