Animation in primary art education

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je implementace výtvarných činností směřující k dynamické vizualitě do primární výtvarné edukace skrze tvorbu jednoduchých animací. Žákům je tak umožněn prostor pro kombinaci vlastního výtvarného projevu a digitálních technologií. Diplomová práce je členěna na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část práce představuje stručnou genezi světové a české animace, shrnuje témata týkající se základních animačních prostředků spolu s výčtem nejvyužívanějších animačních technik, technického vybavení nezbytného k animační tvorbě a formuluje postprodukční animační činnost. Dále se teoretická část zaměřuje na problematiku filmové a animační řeči, oblast multimediální výchovy a jejím vymezení v českém kurikulu. Součástí tohoto oddílu je výčet vybraných projektů, animačních školiček a festivalů. Praktickou část tvoří dlouhodobý a rozsáhlý projekt zaměřený na zařazení animačních postupů a metod do výuky výtvarné výchovy 1. stupně základní školy. Hlavním vyústěním projektu jsou krátké animované gagy. Diplomová práce je doplněna autorskou tvorbou.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to implement art activities towards dynamic visuality into primary art education through the creation of simple animations. In this way, students are given the space to combine their own artistic expression and digital technologies. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part of the thesis presents a brief genesis of the world and Czech animation, summarizes the topics related to the basic animation tools together with a list of the most used animation techniques, technical equipment necessary for animation production and formulates post-production Animation activities. Furthermore, the theoretical part focuses on the issues of film and animation language, multimedia education and its definition in the Czech curriculum. This section includes a list of selected projects, animation schools and festivals. The practical part consists of a long-term and large-scale project aimed at implementing animation methods and techniques into the teaching of art education at the first level of primary school. The main outcome of the project is short animated gags. The diploma thesis is supplemented by the author's work.
