Abstract:

Anotace bakalářské práce, Cílem této práce je vytvořit soubor aktivit pro intenzivní jazykové kurzy, které nám nabídnou možnost rozvoje čtyř základních jazykových dovedností (čtení, psaní, poslech a mluvení) různými způsoby dle teorie Multiple Intelligences za použití zážitkového učení a reflexe na něj. V teoretické části se práce věnuje základním jazykovým dovednostem, teorii Multiple Intelligences a zážitkové pedagogice. Práce nabízí přehled osmi inteligencí, jejich specifikaci a to jak ovlivňují učení u jednotlivých studentů. Dále je uvedeno rozdělení základních jazykových schopností, jejich popis a způsoby jejich rozvoje. Další kapitola se věnuje zážitkové pedagogice, jejím nabídkám a principům. Zdůrazněn je také význam reflexe v zážitkové pedagogice. V poslední části se věnuji jednotlivým aktivitám, u nichž je vždy zdůrazněno na rozvoj jakých jazykových dovedností jsou zaměřené a jaké přitom využívají inteligence. Je prokázáno, že každá z primárních jazykových dovedností může být rozvíjena způsobem odpovídajícím každému jednotlivci. V závěru práce dokladuji, že všechny základní jazykové dovednosti lze rozvíjet prostřednictvím všech typů inteligence. Má bakalářská práce si tedy klade za cíl nabídnout zdroj vhodných aktivit pro intenzivní jazykové kurzy a pedagogy, jež je připravují, a tím pádem napomáhá v jejich náročné práci, která je však velmi oceňována studenty.

Abstract of Bachelor Thesis, submitted on 20 April 2012 Intensive Language Courses – Development of the Four Primary Language Skills through Multiple Intelligences Theory. The aim of this thesis is to create a collection of activities that can be used at intensive language courses, offering us possibility to develop all four primary language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) in different ways according to the Theory of Multiple Intelligences using experience and reflection upon it as a tool. In the theoretical part I deal with four primary language skills, the Theory of Multiple Intelligences and experiential learning. I provide an overview of eight intelligences, their specifications and ways how they affect learning of particular students. I also deal with division of the four primary language skills, their description and ways how they can be developed. At last there is a chapter about experiential approach to learning, its offers and principles. There is also emphasized importance of reflection in experiential learning. In the last part I explore single activities indicating what skill or skills are they developing and through what types of intelligences are they doing that. I demonstrate that each skill can be developed in different ways in order to be acceptable for every student. In conclusion I prove that every skill can be developed according to every of the eight intelligences. It means that my bachelor thesis works as a source of suitable activities for educators that are preparing experiential language courses and thus makes a small contribution to their difficult and hard work that is, on the other hand, appreciated by students very much.
