Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá postavením Bulharska, Rumunska a Chorvatska v Evropské unii. Práce je primárně zaměřená na makroekonomické ukazatele, které čtenáři přiblíží ekonomickou situaci jednotlivých států. Cílem práce je zhodnocení makroekonomických ukazatelů za období před vstupem a po vstupu do EU s následnou prognózou ekonomického vývoje v budoucnu. Práce poukazuje na možná rizika a výzvy, kterým tyto země v budoucnu mohou čelit. Součástí práce je také zhodnocení postavení států v žebříčku konkurenceschopnosti, plnění konvergenčních kritérií a zhodnocení desetiletého a pětiletého výročí členství v EU.

Abstract:

The thesis is about the position of the member states in EU – Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia. The main part of the thesis is primarily focused on macroeconomic indicators, which will introduce the economic situation of individual states to the readers. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the macroeconomic indicators for the period before the accession and after joining the EU together with a forecast of economic development. Part of the thesis refers to possible risks and challenges that these countries may face in the future. The thesis also includes an evaluation of the states in the ranking of competitiveness, performance of convergence criteria, an evaluation of ten-year and five-year anniversary of EU membership.
