Bakalářská práce je věnována tématu Trpný rod v němčině a v češtině. Je rozdělena na dvě části - na část teoretickou a část praktickou. Teoretická část pojednává o slovesném rodu v němčině a v češtině, o tvorbě pasivních forem, o pravidlech přeměny z činného do trpného rodu, o omezeních tvorby trpného rodu, o náhradních formách trpného rodu a o typech pasivních konstrukcí.
