Abstract:
Tyrosin hydroxyláza katalyzuje hydroxylaci tyrosinu na L-DOPA a je rychlost-limitujícím krokem v biosyntéze katecholaminů. Produkty této reakce – dopamin, adrenalin a noradrenalin – fungují jako hormony a neurotransmitery a jejich vyvážené hodnoty jsou klíčové pro správnou funkci mozku. Abstract:
Tyrosine hydroxylase catalyses the hydroxylation of tyrosine to L-DOPA and is a rate-limiting step in catecholamine biosynthesis. The products of this pathway – dopamine, adrenaline, and noradrenaline – act as hormones and neurotransmitters and their balanced levels are crucial for the correct function of the brain.
