Základní analytické charakteristiky hmotnostního spektrometru s indukčně vázaným plazmatem

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývala vlivy základních parametr hmotnostního spektrometru s indukn vázaným plazmatem (ICP-MS) na analytický signál s konkrétní aplikací metody pro stanovení tžkých kov ve vodách. Z výsledk studia parametr ICP-MS bylo zjištno, že je dležité denn sledovat pedevším nastavení iontové optiky a v pípad použití kolizn-reakní cely také prtok kolizního/reakního plynu. V další ásti práce byly prozkoumány a odstranny spektrální interference pomocí kolizní cely. Byly navrženy tžké kovy, které je možné mit s/bez kolizní cely. Ve tetí ásti byly prostudovány nespektrální interference (zpsobené matriními prvky). Ke korekci vlivu matriních prvk na analytický signál byly navrženy vhodné vnitní standardy, jak pro analyty mené v normálním módu, tak pro analyty mené v kolizním módu. Tyto navržené vnitní standardy pak byly využity ke stanovení výtžnosti mení v reálných vzorcích vod. S použitím vnitního standardu se výtžnost pohybovala okolo 90 100 %, bez použití vnitního standardu okolo 70 80 %. Na závr diplomové práce byly vyšeteny základní analytické charakteristiky, linearita odezvy a mez detekce (reálná a instrumentální). Reálná mez detekce vystihuje reálné aktuální možnosti dané metodiky a laboratoe. Odezva analytického signálu byla lineární od jednotlivých reálných mezí detekcí až po studovanou horní koncentraní hranici.

Abstract:

The diploma work was engaged in effects of basic parameters of inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) on an analytical signal with a concrete application of this method for a determination of heavy metals in waters. It was found from the study of the parameters ICP-MS, that for a daily monitoring is very important adjusting of ion optics and in case use of collision-reaction cell also a flow of a collision/reaction gas. In the next part of this work there were investigated and removed spectral interferences by using a collision cell. It was suggested some heavy metals, which we can determine with/without the collision cell. There were studied non-spectral interferences (produced by matrix elements) in the third part of the diploma work. To correction of influence matrix elements on an analytical signal there were suggested suitable internal standards (especially for analytes determined in a normal mode and in a collision mode too). These internal standards were afterwards employed to a determination of yield of measure in real water samples. The yield was around 90 100 % in case of use the internal standard, without the internal standard it was only around 70 80 %. At the end of this diploma work there were find out basic analytical characteristics, the linearity response and the limit of the detection (real and instrument). The real limit of the detection characterizes the real actual possibility of the method and the laboratory. The response of an analytical signal was linear from each real limits of the detection up to the upper concentration.
