The ankle joint biomechanics during running with flatfoot before and after intervention

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problémem plochonoží, v souvislosti s kinematikou lidského pohybu, konkrétně běhu. Cílem naší pilotní studie je porovnat biomechaniku hlezenního kloubu dolní končetiny před započetím intervence specifickým tělesným cvičením a po jeho zapojení do denního režimu probanda. Snažíme se zjistit, zda lze u dospělého běžce s plochou nohou pravidelným cvičením dosáhnout pozitivní změny (snížení pronace) v biomechanice běhu, či nikoliv. Plochá noha byla v předešlých výzkumech asociována se zvýšenou pronací při běhu. Právě zvýšená pronace je považována za jeden z rizikových faktorů některých běžeckých zranění, například u plantární fascitidy nebo zánětu Achillovy paty. V současné době se podařilo navrhnout metody tělesných kompenzačních cvičení, která mohou zvýšit nožní klenbu, a tím zabránit i hyperpronaci a možnosti vzniku souvisejících zdravotních komplikací. Zkoumaný subjekt bude podroben kinematické analýze lidského pohybu v Centru diagnostiky lidského pohybu při běhu optimální rychlostí 9 km/h před započetím pravidelného cvičení a po jeho ukončení.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis deals with the problem of flat foot in connection with the kinematics of human movement, more precisely with the runnig. The goal of our case study is to compare biomechanics of the ankle joint before intervention with the specific physical excercises and after the intervention. We try to find out whether is possible to achieve positive change in biomechanics of runnig ( decrease pronation) in the adult runner with the flat foot or not. Flatfoot was in previous studies associated with increased pronation during the running. Increased pronation is considered one of the risk factors of some running injuries, for example plantar fasciitis or inflammation of the Achilles. Currently, we managed to devise methods of physical compensation exercises that can increase the foot arch, and thus prevent against hyperpronation and the possibility of associated health complications. Participant of this research will undergo a kinematic analysis of human movement in the Diagnostic Centre of human movement while running at optimal speed 9 km / h before beginning therapy with regular exercise and after its completion.
