Abstract:

Bakalářská diplomová práce Motivy civilizačního úpadku ve vybraných dramatických dílech Stanisława Ignacyho Witkiewicze se stálým zřetelem k jeho teorii čisté formy představuje autorovo teoretické bádání především v oblasti estetiky a blíže charakterizuje jeho vlastní teorii čisté formy. Toto estetické schéma je v práci aplikováno na Witkiewiczovu dramatickou tvorbu, konkrétně na hry Bláznivá lokomotiva, Matka a Blázen a jeptiška. Práce také konfrontuje dramatické principy ve Witkacyho hrách s obecným pojetím dramatu v Aristotelově Poetice. Pomocí interpretace výše uvedených dramat práce jmenuje konkrétní podoby motivu úpadku. Kterými jsou motiv stroje a jeho negativní dopad na lidskou existenci, loutkovou existenci člověka a motiv deformace osoby umělce a umění samotného.

Abstract:

The bachelor’s thesis Motives of Decay of Civilization in Chosen Works by Stanisław Ignacy Witkewicz with Continual Consideration to his Theory of Pure Form represents author’s theoretic research especially in the aesthetic field and defines his own theory of the pure form. The aesthetic figure is applied on drama by Witkiewicz, in concrete to The Crazy Locomotive, The Mother and The Madman and the Nun. There is also a confrontation of drama principles and the general concept of drama in Aristotle’s Poetry in Witkacy’s works. The thesis names concrete forms of the motif of decay using the interpretation of already mentioned dramas. The most important is the motif of machine and its negative influence to human being, better said the puppet human being, and the motif of deformation of artist’s personality and the art as such.
