Effect of W sitting on posture

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem W sedu a jeho možným vlivem na posturu u dětí. V teoretické části je práce zaměřena na popis sedu, problematiku W sedu a následně možné přenesení patologií do stoje a chůze, dále jsou popsány alternativy sedu, možné kompenzační pomůcky pro vhodnější sed a rehabilitace dětí, které sedí ve W sedu. Praktická část práce je věnována metodologii vyšetření u dětí, zdravotně-kompenzačním cvikům pro děti sedící ve W sedu a na závěr kazuistice 5leté dívky, ve které je popsán průběh jednotlivých terapií. Cílem práce je ověřit vliv W sedu na držení těla a poukázat na vhodnější typy sedu.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis deals with the topic of W sitting and its possible influence on posture in children. In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on the description of sitting, the issue of W sitting and then the possible transfer of pathologies to standing and walking, as well as the alternatives of sitting, possible compensatory aids for more suitable sitting and rehabilitation of children sitting in W sitting. The practical part of the work is devoted to the methodology of examination scans in children, health-compensation exercises for children sitting in W sitting and, at the end of the case report of the 5-year-old girl, in which the course of individual therapies is described. The aim of the work is to verify the influence of W sitting on posture and point out more appropriate types of sitting.
