This bachelor's thesis seeks to analyse the life and chosen work of the author Antonin Artaud via his essay Van Gogh ou le suicidé de la société (1947) and the writings from the years 1937-1943 that he spent in asylums, published as Lettres: 1937-1943 (2015).
