Management care of venous access in onkology.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku žilních vstupů, používaných u onkologicky nemocných pacientů, kteří jsou léčeni intravenózně podávanou protinádorovou terapií. V teoretické části je vysvětlen pojem onkologie, nádory, typy protinádorové léčby, včetně jejích nežádoucích účinků. Jsou zde vymezeny kompetence všeobecných sester. Další část teoretické části je věnována již zmiňovaným žilním vstupům a péčí o ně. V praktické části jsou uvedeny informace o nejčastěji používaných žilních vstupech, jsou popsány konkrétní komplikace při zavádění žilních vstupů, komplikace související s aplikací léčiv do žilního řečiště. Výzkum byl prováděn pomocí záznamového archu, kde byly zaznamenávány informace týkající se žilních vstupů. Následně byla provedena jejich analýza. Výstupem bakalářské práce je doporučení, týkající se volby zajištění žilního vstupu, ke kterému by mohlo být přihlíženo již při plánování protinádorové léčby.

Abstract:

Our thesis is focused on venous accesses used in cancer patients who are treated by intravenous administration of antineoplastic therapy. In the theoretical part we explain the concept of oncology, cancer and anticancer treatments including its side effects. There are also defined nurse competencies. In the second part of the theoretical background is devoted to intravenous accesses and differences in theirs management. The practical part contains information about the most commonly used venous access, descriptions of specific complications of the implementation of venous access, complications associated with the drugs application into the venous system. The research was done by using the recording sheet, wherein the information related to the venous access. Subsequently, the data were analyzed. The outcome of the thesis is a recommendation for the choice of venous access, which could be taken into account during the anticancer treatment planning.
