Bakalářská práce se nejdříve věnuje historii železniční dopravy České republiky a jejímu vývoji, dále se zaměřuje na aktuální právní vymezení týkající se železnice. V následující kapitole jsou popsány subjekty působící na železniční síti České republiky a vybraný dopravce využívající tuto síť. Dále je pozornost věnována bezpečnostním prvkům železniční dopravy. The bachelor thesis first focus on the railway transportation history in the Czech Republic territory and its development, the next concentrate on the current legislative restrictions concerning the railway.
