Sustainable tourism in the area "Kokořínsko"

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na možnosti rozvoje udržitelného cestovního ruchu v chráněné krajinné oblasti Kokořínsko. V teoretické části práce jsou definovány základní pojmy této problematiky – co je to udržitelný cestovní ruch, specifika chráněných krajinných oblastí a speciálně chráněných území obecně. Je zde také stručná historie ochrany přírody v České republice. V další části je podrobný a detailní popis oblasti Kokořínsko, její specifika a jednotlivé přírodní a historické atraktivity. Analytická část práce také popisuje úroveň spolupráce v oblasti a je zakončena SWOT analýzou, která shrnuje celkovou situaci v oblasti. Závěrečná část práce vychází z části analytické, především pak ze SWOT analýzy. V této části jsou nastíněny možnosti udržitelného cestovního ruchu. Tyto návrhy se týkají rozvoje pěší a cykloturistiky v místě, spolupráce jednotlivých subjektů a jsou zde také navrženy možné formy cestovního ruchu, které by byly pro tuto chráněnou krajinnou oblast vhodné. Poslední kapitola je věnována celkovým možným dopadům cestovního ruchu na oblast.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on possibilities of sustainable tourism development in the protected area Kokořínsko. In the theoretical part are definitions of the basic terms in this thesis – suistainable tourism, specificity of protected areas and the special protected areas generally. There is also the brief history of protection the nature in the Czech Republic. The next part contains detailed description of Kokořínsko area. It is about its localization, what is typical for this area, the nature and historical wealth. The analytical part describes the level of cooperation and partnership in Kokořínsko area and this part ends with SWOT analysis. This analysis summarize the whole situation in the Kokořínsko area. The final part of thesis is based on the analytical part, expecially on SWOT analysis. In this part are designed the possibilities of sustainable tourism. These proposals are connected with the development of hiking and cycling, cooperation of all the subjects in the place and there are also mentioned possible types of tourism, which are for the protected area most suitable. The last chapter is about the total impacts of tourism on this protected area.
