Czech dubbing after 1989 - technology transformation and their influence on the production of dubbing studios

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá proměnami produkčního zázemí dvou pražských dabingových studií, společnosti DW Agentura s.r.o. a Realizace převzatých pořadů České televize, po roce 1989. Sledovány jsou ekonomické, personální, technické a organizační aspekty výroby a jejich změny pod vlivem technologického vývoje. Hlavní výzkumnou metodou práce byla zvolena kvalitativní analýza založená na hloubkových rozhovorech s představiteli různých profesí podílejících se na realizaci dabingu a na analýze sekundárních dat.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis deals with changes in the production background of two Prague dubbing studios, DW Agentura s.r.o. and Realizace převzatých pořadů České televize, after 1989. The economic, personnel, technical and organizational aspects of production and their changes under the influence of technological development are monitored in the thesis. The main research method of the thesis was a qualitative analysis based on in-depth interviews with representatives of different professions involved in the realization of dubbing and on the analysis of secondary data.
