Design of bedside table with the emphasis on the storage space

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem nočního stolku s důrazem na úložný prostor. Práce je složena ze dvou částí – teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části je obsažena problematika nábytku úložného i stolového, historický přehled, současné trendy, členění a typologie. Je zde zahrnuta i bezpečnost a ergonomie úložného nábytku. Praktická část se zabývá vlastním návrhem nočního stolku, při kterém je využito získaných poznatků z teoretické části. Vlastní návrh nočního stolku zahrnuje prvotní i konečný návrh, 3D model nočního stolku, vizualizaci v interiéru ložnice, finální konstrukční řešení s detaily, cenovou kalkulaci a výrobu funkčního prototypu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of bedside table with the emphasis on the storage space. The thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains an introduction of storage and table furniture, historical overview, current trends, classification and typology. Moreover, safety and ergonomics of furniture for storing things are included. The practical part contains the own design of the bedside table, where the learnt knowledges from the theoretical part are used. The own design of bedside table includes primary and final designs, 3D model of bedside table, visualization in the interior of the bedroom, construction with details, price calculation and making of final functional prototype.
