Životní úroveň v Československu v letech 1970-1989 a její srovnání s životní úrovní v Rakousku

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá životní úrovní v Československu v 70. 80. letech 20. století. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní vlastnosti centrálně plánované ekonomiky a definice pojmu životní úroveň. Dále je uveden politický a hospodářský vývoj v Československu a Rakousku v uvedeném časovém období. Současně je věnována pozornost vybraným prvkům životní úrovně. Prověřuji hypotézu, že životní úroveň v Československu v 70. a 80. letech 20. století je výrazně nižší než v okolních státech s tržní ekonomikou. K dosažení cíle je využita praktická část, kde dochází ke komparaci s Rakouskem na základě vybraných determinantů. Na základě zjištěných informací lze konstatovat, že životní úroveň byla nižší, a zvláště v některých bodech výrazná.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the standard of living in Czechoslovakia during the 70‘s and 80’s of the 20th century. The theoretical part describes the basic characteristics of the centrally planned economy and the definition of the concept of standard of living. The political and economic development in Czechoslovakia and Austria in the given period is also presented. At the same time, attention is paid to selected elements of the standard of living. I examine the hypothesis that the standard of living in Czechoslovakia in the 1970s and 1980s is significantly lower than in neighboring states with a market economy. To achieve the goal is used the practical part, where the comparison with Austria is based on selected determinants. Because of the findings, it can be stated that the standard of living was lower and especially in some points was significant.
