Bismuth based pigments doped with lanthanides

Abstract:

Předkládaná disertační práce se zabývá možnostmi přípravy nových středně teplotních pigmentů na bázi oxidu bismutitého dopovaného lanthanoidy konkrétně (Bi\dindex{1-x}Ln\dindex{x})\dindex{2}O\dindex{3}, kde Ln = Gd, Lu, Ce, Eu, Yb a Tm, x = 0.1 až 0,9 (s krokem 0.1). Připravené práškové materiály by mohly najít uplatnění při vybarvování plastů či nátěrových hmot.

Abstract:

This thesis is directed to the possibility of synthesis of the new medium temperature pigments based on bismuth (III) oxide which are doped by ions of lanthanides, namely (Bi\dindex{1-x}Ln\dindex{x})\dindex{2}O\dindex{3}, where Ln = Gd, Lu, Ce, Eu, Yb and Tm, x = 0.1, 0.2, 0,3, 0,4, 0,5, 0,6, 0,7, 0,8 and 0,9. These pigments could be used for colouring of paints or plastics.
