Abstract:
Práce se zaměřuje na středověkou báseň Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, konkrétně na tři vybrané symboly: Zelný rytíř, pěticípá hvězda a pás. Zkoumá jejich historii, porovnává různé interpretace a snaží se poukázat, jak jsou tyto symboly navzájem propojené.Abstract:
The thesis focuses on the classic medieval poem Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. It analyses three major symbols – the Green Knight, the Pentangle, and the Girdle. The aim is to compare and contrast the various interpretations of these symbols, and to demonstrate their mutual interconnectedness.
