The casinos in the today Indian reservations in the USA as a source of economy for their inhabitants

Abstract:

Indiánská kasina byla jedno z rychle rostoucích odvětví, které mělo rozvinout indiánské kmenové zájmy v rezervacích a jejich ekonomiku. Zkoumáním této aktivity, autor nastínil její vyhlídky, vývoj, přínosy a realitu. Můžeme zde pozorovat jisté ekonomické a sociální dopady. Výsledky ukazují, že indiánská kasina mají pozitivní, ale i negativní vliv na indiánské obyvatelstvo, a že tímto jevem, je ovlivněna zároveň i americká společnost

Abstract:

Indian casinos was one of the fast-growing sector, which should develop Indian tribal interests and their economy in Indian reservation. By exploring this activity, the author has outlined its prospects, development, benefits and the reality. We can observe some economic and social impacts. The results show that Indian casinos have positive but also negative impact on the Indian population, and that this phenomenon affects also the American society.
