Growth of roach Rutilus rutilus (Linnaeus,1758)in the water reservoir Kružberk

Abstract:

V roce 2009 byl ve vodárenské nádrži Kružberk odchycen vzorek populace plotice obecné, čítající 203 ryb. Ryby byly změřeny, zváženy a byly jim odebrány vzorky šupin. Z těchto šupin byl určen věk ryb. Zpětné výpočty délek byly stanoveny metodou R. Leeové. Na základě analýzy absolutních a relativních přírůstků délek a hmotností mezi jednotlivými roky života a Fultonova koeficientu kondice byl hodnocen hmotnostní a délkový růst okouna. Vztah mezi délkou těla a poloměrem šupiny plotice je lineární (R2 = 0,9731). Růst plotice ve vodní nádrži Kružberk je průměrný až podprůměrný. Plotice roste pomaleji než ve většině jiných vodních nádržích.

Abstract:

In 2009 it was net a sample of 203 roaches in the water-supply reservoir Kružberk. Fish was weigt, size up and the scale was taken away from each of the roach. These scales were used for determining the age of each roach. For back calculation of the lenght was used R.Lee method. For evaluation the lenght growth and weight growth of the individuals we used the analysis of absolute and relative longitudinal growth figure in single age of life and Fulton´s koeficient of condition. The body-scale relationship of roach is linear (R2 = 0,9731). The growth of roach is average to undersize in the water-supply reservoir Kružberk. Roach in this reservoir grow slower then in most of reservoáre in Czech Republic.
