Effectiveness of Barist´s Courses at Hotel School

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je "Efektivita baristického kurzu na hotelové škole" Experiment jsem prováděla na Albrechtově střední škole v Českém Těšíně. Cílem diplomové práce je zvýšit efektivitu výuky baristiky pomocí mnou vytvořeného učebního materiálu. Po ukončení kurzu (experimentu) bude učební materiál k dispozici nejen studentům, ale i pedagogům. Text bude korespondovat s aktuálními trendy. Efektivita zpracovaného výukového materiálu bude ověřena pomocí didaktických testů (pretest, posttest). Na základě získaných výsledků bude provedeno didaktické šetření a vyhodnocení, zda je baristický kurz s učebním materiálem efektivní či nikoliv. Pro pedagogický výzkum, jsem využila znalosti statistiky - (statistické metody - Testování normality dat, párový T test, Chí kvadrát.) Dosažené výsledky budou vyhodnoceny následně stanovené závěry. Součástí diplomové práce je i teoretická část, která je věnována převážně didaktice.

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis is "Effectiveness of a barista course at a hotel school" I conducted the experiment at Albrecht High School in Cesky Tesin. The aim of the thesis is to increase the effectiveness of the barista course by using the teaching material I created. After the course (experiment) is completed, the teaching material will be available not only to students but also to teachers. The text will correspond with current trends. The effectiveness of the developed teaching material will be verified by means of didactic tests. (pre test, post test). On the basis of the results obtained, a didactic investigation will be carried out and an evaluation will be made as to whether the barista course with the teaching material is effective or not. For the pedagogical research, I used the knowledge of statistics - (statistical methods - Testing normality of data, paired T test, Chi-square.) The results obtained, will be analyzed and then the conclusions established. The thesis includes a theoretical part, which is mainly devoted to didactics.
