Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá implementací systému pro navigaci uvnitř budov Aruba Me-ridian v prostředí knihovny Vysoké školy ekonomické v Praze. Cílem bylo vytvořit pilotní projekt, který je schopen analyzovat funkcionalitu systému Aruba Meridian v reálném prostředí. V rámci tohoto projektu bylo nutné se blíže seznámit s pojmy jako je Location intelligence a Geoinformatika pro zajištění dostatečné teoretické základny současně jako vytvoření přehledu v technologiích, které se v současnosti nejčastěji pro navigaci uvnitř budov používají. Důležitým cílem bylo také porozumět nárokům na implementaci navigace uvnitř budov a stanovit postup práce, který tvořil základ pro praktickou část. V rámci praktické části byl systém Aruba Meridian naimplementován do prostředí knihovny Vysoké školy ekonomické v Praze, kde následně proběhlo i testování jeho vlastností. K dosažení těchto cílů bylo postupováno po částech. Nejprve se práce věnuje krátkému úvodu do problematiky a hlubšímu rozvoji vlastností jednotlivých cílů, následuje kritická rešerše informačních zdrojů, které se vztahují k této práci. Další část se věnuje definici téma Location intelligence a základním pojmům v této oblasti. Na tuto část navazuje úvod do technologií používaných pro lokalizaci uvnitř budov a následně také definice pravidel pro implementaci bluetooth technologií. Poslední část je praktická, kde je nejprve představen nástroj Aruba Meridian a jeho vlastnosti, následně je implementován, testován a zhod-nocen. Hlavním přínosem této práce je otestování systému Aruba Meridian v reálném prostředí a zhodnocení jeho funkcionality jako jednoho ze systémů pro navigaci uvnitř budov, kterých stále přibývá, nejsou však zejména v Čechách velmi používané.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the implementation of a navigation system Aruba Meridian inside the library of the University of Economics in Prague. The aim was to create a pilot project that is able to analyze the functionality of the Aruba Meridian system in a real environment. Within this project, it was necessary to become more familiar with concepts such as Location intelligence and Geoinformatics to provide a sufficient theoretical base at the same time as an overview of the technologies currently used for indoor navigation. An important goal was also to understand the demands for the implementation of indoor navi-gation and to determine the workflow that formed the basis for the practical part. As part of the practical part, the Aruba Meridian system was implemented in the library environment of the University of Economics in Prague, where it was subsequently tested for its properties. The achievement of these objectives was achieved in several parts. At first, the work is devoted to the brief introduction to the problems and the deeper development of the prop-erties of the individual goals, followed by the critical search of information sources related to this work. The next part deals with the definition of Location intelligence and the basic concepts. This section is followed by an introduction to the technologies used for localiza-tion inside buildings and, subsequently, the definition of rules for the implementation of bluetooth technologies. The last part is practical, where the Aruba Meridian tool and its properties are first introduced, followed by implementation, testing and evaluation. The main benefit of this work is the testing of the Aruba Meridian system in real environment and the evaluation of its functionality as one of the systems for navigation inside buildings, which is still increasing, but they are not particularly used in the Czech Republic.
