Principles of cardiopulmonary resuscitation in children - awareness of pediatric nurses

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na zásady kardiopulmonální resuscitace u dětí a na informovanost dětských sester o nových Guidelines 2010. V teoretické části je zahrnutá historie resuscitace, dělení resuscitace, jednotlivé kroky provedení rozšířené kardiopulmonální resuscitace, resuscitace novorozence, léky používané při kardiopulmonální resuscitaci (KPR) dětí, poresuscitační péče. Dále je tu zmínka o etických problémech v rámci poskytování KPR. V praktické části práce jsou prezentovány výsledky kvantitativního výzkumu. Ten byl prováděn formou anonymního dotazníku. Cílem šetření bylo zjistit informovanost dětských sester v oblasti KPR v závislosti na nových doporučeních, analyzovat faktory ovlivňující jejich informovanost a zmapovat míru proškolení. Skupinu respondentů tvořily dětské sestry, které pracují na dětském oddělení.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is specialised on cardiopulmonary resuscitation of children and on knowledge of pediatric nurse about new Guidelines 2010. In theoretical part is included the history of resuscitation, division of resuscitation, particular steps implementation of advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation, resuscitation of new-born, medicaments used in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) of children, post resuscitation care. Then there is the mention of ethical issues in the provision of CPR. In practical part the results of research are presented. The research was conducted through an anonymous questionnaire. The aim of research was to investigate knowledge of pediatric nurses in CPR in dependent on new recommendation, analyse factors, which affect their knowledge and investigate their rate of skills. The group of respondents created nurses working at the pediatric department.
