Vliv managementových opatření na společenstva křísů (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha) při ekologické obnově lučního mokřadu na jižní Moravě

Effect of land management on true hopper communities (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha) during ecological restoration of an open wetland in South Moravia (Czech Republic)

Abstract:

Mokřady jsou biotopy vyznačující se velkou biodiverzitou. Jsou na ně vázané vzácné druhy živočichů i rostlin. Vlivem intenzivního zemědělství, zejména meliorací a používání hnojiv v krajině, i zanedbáním obhospodařování v posledních desetiletích mokřadní biotopy degradují. Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje vlivu managementových opatření během ekologické obnovy zanedbaného lučního mokřadu v Krumvíři na jižní Moravě. Cílem obnovy by mělo být zlepšení současného stavu na lokalitě, která intenzivně zarůstá rákosem a invazními druhy rostlin. Jako modelová skupina na posouzení dopadu zavedených opatření (extenzivní pastvy skotu a seče) byli v této práci použiti křísi (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha), druhově bohatý taxon fytofágního hmyzu. V rešeršní části práce jsou shrnuty dosavadní poznatky o vlivu pastvy a seče na společenstva křísů v travních porostech, zejména mokřadních. V praktické části práce jsou vyhodnoceny vzorky křísů odebrané na lokalitě v letech 2020 a 2021 z pěti bloků ploch, přičemž každý z nich obsahoval tři dílčí studijní plochy (5 × 5 m) lišící se způsobem obhospodařování (pastva, seč, ponechání ladem). Vzorky byly odebírány pomocí standardizovaného smýkání a vysávání zahradním vysavačem. Celkem bylo nalezeno 4179 jedinců, příslušejících k 78 druhům křísů. Z tohoto počtu bylo 28 druhů ochranářsky nebo faunisticky významných a dva z nich nebyly dosud v ČR uváděny. Abundance a druhová bohatost ohrožených druhů se v obou letech (2020 a 2021) mezi plochami s odlišným typem managementu nelišila. Mezi lety však došlo k mírnému nárůstu počtu zachycených ohrožených druhů na sečených a pasených plochách. Nejvyšší celková abundance i druhová bohatost křísů byly zjištěny na sečených plochách. Naopak nejchudší v obou aspektech byly plochy kontrolní (ponechané ladem). Plochy ponechané ladem se také od sečených a pasených ploch významně lišily v druhovém složení taxocenóz křísů. Z těchto poznatků lze vyvodit, že uplatněný management se jeví jako prospěšný pro obnovu degradovaných mokřadních biotopů. Pastva a obzvláště seč pomohly potlačit monodominantní porosty rákosu a zvýšily druhovou bohatost a abundanci křísů. Vzhledem k vazbě některých druhů na vzrostlé rákosiny by však bylo k dosažení maximální diverzity křísů prospěšné ponechat část lokality do budoucna bez zásahu

Abstract:

Wetlands are habitats characterised by high biodiversity, including rare and specialised plant and animal species. Due to intensive agriculture, especially land reclamation and use of fertilisers, as well as abandonment, many wetlands have been degraded in recent decades. This bachelor thesis focuses on the impact of management measures during ecological restoration of a neglected wet meadow in Krumvíř (South Moravia, Czech Republic). The aim of the restoration was to improve the condition of the site, which had been overgrown with reed and invasive plant species. True hoppers (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha), a species-rich taxon of phytophagous insects, were used as a model group to assess the impact of the introduced measures (extensive cattle grazing and cutting). In its introductory parts, the thesis summarises the previous knowledge on the effect of grazing and cutting on the communities of true hoppers in grasslands and wetlands. For the research part of the thesis, samples of true hoppers were collected at the site in 2020 and 2021 from five blocks of plots, each containing three subplots (5 × 5 m) differing in management (grazing, mowing, fallow), using standardised sweeping and suction sampling. A total of 4179 specimens, belonging to 78 species of true hoppers were collected, of which 28 species were of conservation or faunistic importance. Two of these species have not yet been reported in the Czech Republic. The abundance and species richness of threatened species did not differ between areas with different management types in both years (2020 and 2021). However, there was a slight increase in the number of endangered species captured in mowed and grazed areas between years. The greatest total abundance and species richness of true hoppers were found in cut subplots. In contrast, control (fallow) subplots were the poorest in both aspects. The fallow subplots also differed significantly from the cut and grazed subplots in their true hopper species composition. These findings suggest that the management measures applied can be beneficial for the restoration of degraded wetland habitats. Grazing and especially cutting have helped to suppress the monodominant reed and consequently, the species richness and abundance of true hoppers increased. As some true hopper species preferred tall reed stands, the highest diversity at the site could be achieved by a combination of active management and leaving some parts of the locality abandoned.
