Diplomová práca analyzuje ozbrojené konflikty v Barme prebiehajúce od roku 1948 až dodnes, ktoré bývajú často označované ako celosvetovo najdlhšie trvajúca občianska vojna. Práca na základe teoretického konceptu Uppsalskej univerzity komplexne analyzuje barmské konlikty od ich historických príčin, dynamiky až po súčasnosť a navrhované iciatívy riešení.
