War of the Spanish Succession
Abstract:
Práce se zaměří na politiku maritimních velmocí (Velké Británie a Spojených nizozemských provincií) v kontextu kontinentální politiky Francie Ludvíka XIV. Neopomene analyzovat příčiny, průběh a zejména důsledky Války o španělské dědictví pro Evropu na počátku 18. století.
Abstract:
The thesis focuses on the politics of the maritime powers (Great Britain and the United Dutch Provinces) in the context of the continental politics of Louis XIV of France. It analyzes the causes, course and especially the consequences of the war for the Spanish Succession for Europe in the early 18th century.
