Sexual life of women in pregnancy

Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem diplomové práce bylo zjistit prožívání sexuálního života žen v těhotenství. Metodika výzkumu: Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 106 žen, z toho 52 těhotných žen a 54 žen, které nebyly těhotné. Výzkumné šetření probíhalo od května 2017 do října 2017, v Pardubickém kraji, na Poliklinice Choceň a. s., ve 3 gynekologických ambulancích. Ke sběru dat byl použit standardizovaný dotazník Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI), který měří míru sexuální funkce ženy a dále byly získávány demografické údaje cílenými dotazy na věk, rodinný stav, vzdělání a těhotenství. Data byla dále zpracovávána statistickou analýzou. Výsledky: Z výsledků výzkumu vyplývá, že věk a rodinný stav u těhotných žen má vliv na jejich sexuální funkce v těhotenství, oproti tomu počet těhotenství nemá vliv na sexuální funkce žen v těhotenství. Byl zjištěn rozdíl v sexuální funkci u těhotných žen a žen, které nebyly těhotné, kdy ženy, které nebyly těhotné, byly více spokojené se svým sexuálním životem oproti těhotným ženám. A byla prokázaná existence vztahu mezi sexuálními doménami. Závěr: Výsledky diplomové práce mohou sloužit těm, kteří chtějí mít podrobnější přehled o prožívání sexuálního života žen v těhotenství. Nejen těhotným ženám, ale také zdravotnickému a lékařskému personálu, který v oblasti gynekologie a porodnictví pracuje, ale převážně pak porodním asistentkám, které pracují v komunitní péči nebo na Gynekologicko-porodnickém oddělení.

Abstract:

Aim: The aim of the diploma thesis is to examine the sexual life during pregnancy. Methodology: The total number of women included in the survey was 106, 52 of them were pregnant and 54 of them were not pregnant. The survey was conducted between May 2017 and October 2017 in Pardubice region, in the local hospital Poliklinika Choceň, a. s. in three gynecological ambulances. Results: The results of the survey suggest that the age and the family status of pregnant women has an influence on their sexual life in pregnancy. On the other hand, the number of pregnancies does not influence sexual life of women in pregnancy. Furthermore, it was found out that there is a difference between sexual life of pregnant women and women who were not pregnant. The women who were not pregnant are in fact more satisfied with their sexual life compared to pregnant women. Moreover, the survey has proved the existence of relationship between sexual domains. Conclusion: The outcome of the diploma thesis can be very useful for people who want to have a detailed overview of the sexual life of women in pregnancy. The diploma thesis could be used not only by pregnant women but also by medical staff in gynecology and midwifery. However, it is primarily dedicated to midwives who work in community-based services and maternity wards.
