Representations of Southern Culture in Selected Plays by Tennessee Williams

Representations of Southern Culture in Selected Plays by Tennessee Williams
Abstract:
The thesis focuses on an analysis of representations of Southern culture in the selected plays by Tennessee Williams. Both theoretical and analytical parts focus on the description of the distinctiveness of the culture of the North and the South, the Southern Belle archetype and the evolution of the "Old South" to the modern South.
