Abstract:

V poslední době se stále více prodlužuje „přechodové“ období, ve kterém si mladí lidé testují „život“ před tím, než plně přijmou za svůj svět dospělých. Nejen, že vstupují do manželství a stávají se rodiči později, ale oddálen se zdá i vstup do samostatného – dospělého života. Zkoušení různých alternativ v oblastech vztahů či práce je nejen běžené, ale je považováno za hodnotu sui generis. V této práci jsme si stanovili za cíl prozkoumat právě toto období přechodu do dospělosti. Zajímalo nás, jak ho mladí lidé prožívají, a také to, jaké chování, vlastnosti a postoje toto období vymezují, tj. ozřejmit jeho podobu. Teoretická část mapuje pohled na dopívání z hlediska teorie a vývoje iedntity. Blíže rozebírá související vývojové období adolescence a mladé dospělosti. Snažili jsme se odpovědět na otázku, kam přesně období emerging adulthood zařadit a zda jde o nové obecně platné vývojové období tzv. vynořující se dospělost. V kvantitativní části výzkumu se nám podařilo prokázat významný rozdíl mezi skupinou lidí, kteří se cítí dospěle, a těch, kteří se cítí v mezistupni. V období přechodu do dospělosti tak jedinec zažívá vyšší míru nestability, hledání sama sebe a nesamostatnosti. Dále se nám podařilo potvrdit, že věk ovlivňuje míru prožívání dospělosti, tj. s vyšším věkem roste míra pocitu dospělosti, a také že s pocitem dospělosti velmi těsně souvisí přijímání finančních a pracovních závazků. Neprokázala se však existence hranice, která by jednoznačně vymezovala vstup do dospělosti. V kvalitativním výzkumu se nám podařilo zachytit různé podoby přechodu do dospělosti a získat odpovědi na otázky, jak mladí lidé tento přechod vnímají a prožívají. Podařilo se nám také definovat významné kategorie daného přechodového období. Práce byla součástí projektu, ve kterém vznikaly paralelně 3 diplomové práce. Výzkumný vzorek je stejný, stejně jako základní poznatky z výzkumu vyplývající. Každý z autorů se však zabývá také popisem specifických oblastí tranzitu do dospělosti.

Emerging adulthood Transition to adulthood and its particularities – plans, job and understanding of personal freedom Lately the period of transition, when young people test „life“ before they accept the reality of the world of adults, extends. Not only that they get married or become parents later, also the joining of their adulthood life seems to be postponed. They try different possibilitiesin filed of relationships or work and it is more than usual, also it is supposed to be value of sue generis. At this piece of work we want to meet the target to investigate just this transition to adulthood. We wamted to find out how young people perceive this transition and also what manners, qualities and attitudes specify this period, i.e. to explicate their form. Teoretical piece of work shows the perspective on adulthood in theory and progress of identity. Closely it hold forth on progress period of adolescence and young adulthood. We tried to asnwer the quetion, where exactly can be emerging adulthood classified and if its a new generally applicable period - emerging adulthood. In the quantitative part of research we achieved to prove that there is a singificant difference between a group aof people, who feel to be adult and those who feel to be in the intermediate stage. In the period of transition to adult hood the individual experience langer degree of instability, looking for himself and unindependence.Futher we succeded in proving that the age can affect degre of experiencing of adulthood, i.e. the higher age the higer degree of feeling to be adult. Also the feeling to be adult closely relates to taking money and accepting of work obligations. There was no provable existence of boundary that could positively specify entering of adulthood. In qualitative research we managed to bring different kinds of forms of transition to adulthood and get answers to question how young people perceive go through this transition. We were also able to define significant categories of such transition period. This piece of work was part of project, which compounds 3 dissertations. The research specimen was identical, same as essential parts of pieces of knowledge that emered from the research. Each of authors was concerned with specific fields on transition to adulthood.
