Applications and properties of macromolecular compounds of natural origin in polymeric and composite materials

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na makromolekulární látky přírodního původu. Charakterizuje nejznámější zástupce, jako jsou chitin, chitosan, celulóza, škrob, přírodní kaučuk, kasein, keratin nebo kolagen a uvádí jejich zdroje a způsoby izolace. Dále se práce zabývá aplikacemi a vlastnostmi těchto látek v polymerních a kompozitních materiálech. Kromě užití těchto látek v minulosti, jsou zde uvedeny i aplikace současné a potenciální.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on macromolecular substances of natural origin. It characterizes the most well-known representatives such as chitin, chitosan, cellulose, starch, natural rubber, casein, keratin or collagen and lists their sources and methods of isolation. Furthermore the thesis deals with applications and properties of these substances in polymeric and composite materials. In addition to using these substances in the past, there are also current and potential applications.
