Postmortem bone microstructural changes: a tool for the burial rite reconstruction in the Bronze Age
Abstract:
Práce se zaměřuje na komparaci histologické zachovalosti koster ze sídlištních pohřbů datovaných do doby bronzové s pohřby datovanými do mladšího eneolitu. Učiněná zjištění jsou následně využita k interpretacím spojitosti pohřebního kontextu a způsobů zacházení s těly zemřelých s histologickým projevem na kostech.
Abstract:
Thesis is focused on the comparison of histological preservation of skeletons from settlement burials dated to the Bronze Age with grave burials dated to the Late Eneolithic. The findings are then used to interpret the connection between the funeral context and the ways of treating the bodies of the dead with histological manifestations on the bones.
