Předložená bakalářská práce pojednává formou rešerše odborné literatury o aplikaci genetiky ve forenzní praxi. Počáteční kapitoly charakterizují strukturu DNA, genetickou informaci a pojednávají o historickém vývoji genetiky se zřetelem na využití jejích poznatků ve forenzní biologii a kriminalistické praxi. This bachalor thesis deals with applications of genetics in forensic practice using recent scientific literature. The initial chapters describe DNA structure, genetic information and historical development of the genetics with regard to expoitation of genetic knovledge in the forensic biology and criminalistics.
