Abstract:

Émile Zola jednou řekl: ?Umělec bez nadání není ničím, ale nadání bez práce nevede k ničemu.? Každý rok spousta rodičů posílá své děti na hodiny hudební výchovy v naději, že jsou nadaní nebo mají nějaký skrytý talent. Některé děti samozřejmě baví se učit hudbě, nicméně brzký začátek neznamená, že se z nich stanou virtuózové. Proto je důležité znát definici nadaného at talentovaného dítěte. V Jižní Koreji je několik vládních i nevládních institutů, které jim nabízí vzdělání a jsou zde případy, kdy vychovali dospělé úspěšné hudebníky. Tato práce se snaží zkoumat efektivitu korejských ústavů, které se zaměřují na výchovu a podporu těchto nadaných dětí.

Abstract:

Emile Zola once said that ?The artist is nothing without the gift, but the gift is nothing without work.? Every year, many children at early age start having music lessons in their parents? hopes of finding out their children?s giftedness or hidden talents. Of course, in some cases, the children themselves show enthusiasm in learning music. However, just starting the music early does not make them prodigies all of a sudden. It is therefore necessary to know the definition of the gifted and talented children, education offered by several Korean governmental/non-governmental institutes, and cases of Korean gifted and talented children who are now successful grown-up musicians. This paper aims to analyses the efficiency of the Korean institutes which aim to foster and support the gifted children.
