The Psychosocial and Educational Issues of the Quality of Life of Seniors

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice seniorů a zkoumá způsob integrace do společnosti a kvalitu životního stylu. Cesta ke spokojenému stáří je systematické utváření harmonického a smysluplného žití, rozvoji osobních zájmů, tvůrčí činnosti, či udržování sociálních kontaktů. Teoretická část je zaměřena na proces stáří a stárnutí, aktivní životní styl, služby sociálního zabezpečení a možnosti využití reminiscenční terapie. Dále se zaměřuje na lidské potřeby ve stáří a možnosti ve vzdělávání. Cílem mé práce je poukázat, jak lze prožívat radostné stáří, zejména pomocí vzdělávacích a volnočasových aktivit. Praktická část je zpracována pomocí kvantitativního výzkumu a zjišťuje, jak jsou senioři spokojeni se svým životem v penzi, jaké využívají vzdělávací aktivity a jakým způsobem tráví svůj volný čas. Výzkumná metoda byla zvolena formou dotazníku.

Abstract:

This theses devotes to the problems of seniors and studies the way of integration tohether with the quality of thein lifestyle. The way toward enjoyable period of the old age means the systematic creation of harmonious and meaningful lifestyle, developing of personal interests, creativity and maintaing of social contacts. Its theoretical part is centred on the process of the old age and senescence, aktive lifestyle, social services as well as on the posibility of using reminiscent therapy. The aim of my work is to prove and point out how feasible it can be to go through enjoyable old age, especially with the help of educatibility and lemure needs. The second, practical part deals with the help of qualitative research and finds out how the seniors are satisfied with thein living in pension and chat thein possibili-ties of education are like. The completing of questionaires was adopted as a method of this research.
