Nursing process in care of patient with a non-healing wound

Anotace:

This thesis deals with non-healing wounds and care of patients with non-healing wounds. The theoretical part of thesis is divided into two main chapters. First chapter focuses on the issue of healing wounds - etiology, classification, diagnosis and treatment in the context of nursing care. The second chapter is descirbing chronic wounds, their classification and role of nurse which she plays in healing of wounds. The empirical part is processed on the basis of a specifically selected patient and his needs by creating a plan of nursing care based on nursing diagnoses of NANDA-I taxonomy II. Patient with venous ulcers who was hospitalized at long term care facility in Ostrava Radvanice was chosen for the empirical part.
