Effect of antiglaucomatic drugs on the guality and quantity of tear film.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem „Vliv antiglaukomatik na kvalitu a kvantitu slzného filmu“ v první kapitole popisuje vybrané anatomické struktury, které mají souvislost s dále popisovanými onemocněními; glaukomem a syndromem suchého oka. Další kapitola vysvětluje strukturu, funkce a dynamiku slzného filmu. Čtvrtá kapitola se věnuje syndromu suchého oka, s podkapitolami týkajícími se příznaků, vyšetření kvality a kvantity, v neposlední řadě obsahuje podkapitolu věnovanou léčbě. Glaukomu je věnovaná pátá kapitola. Kapitola popisuje klasifikaci glaukomu, příznaky, vyšetření a způsoby léčby: medikamentózní, laserovou a chirurgickou. Práce je zakončena praktickou částí zaměřenou na výskyt subjektivních i objektivních příznaků syndromu suchého oka v souvislosti s lokální terapií analogy prostaglandinů.

Abstract:

The thesis titled "Effect of antiglaucomatic drugs on the guality and quantity of tear film" in the first chapter describes selected anatomical structures, which are associated with the described further diseases; glaucoma and dry eye syndrome. The next chapter explains the structure, function and dynamic of the tear film. The fourth chapter is dedicated to dry eye syndrome, with subchapters like concerning symptoms, examination of quality and quantity and subchapter dedicate to the treatment. The fifth chapter is about Glaucoma. The chapter describes the classification of glaucoma, symptoms, tests and therapy - medical, laser and surgical. At the end of thesis is practical part, which is focused on the incidence of subjective and objective symptoms of dry eye syndrome in the context of local therapy of prostaglandin analogues.
