V poslednom období sme svedkami zásadných štrukturálnych zmien v agro-potravinovom systéme, ktoré sú dôsledkami globalizačných procesov. Vzťahy medzi producentmi a konzumentmi potravín sa predĺžili a skomplikovali úmerne svojím globálnym rozmerom.
