This bachelor thesis deals with the theme of nature in the poetry of Robert Burns. The aim of this thesis is to explain the role and the function of nature in Burns? poems and to analyze the message that the author wanted to spread by his works. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem přírody v básních Roberta Burnse. Cílem práce je vysvětlit roli a funkci přírody v Burnsových básních a analyzovat poselství, které chtěl básník svou tvorbou sdělit. V teoretické části se práce zabývá životem a prací Roberta Burnse a poskytuje stručné nahlédnutí do Skotska a jeho krajiny.
