Planting of planting material in winter time

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou výsadby ve dvou různých měsících téhož roku. Zimní výsadbou (7.-8. 2. 2018) a jarní výsadbou (9. 4. 2018) semenáčků druhů Fagus sylvatica L. a Quercus robur L. Obě výsadby proběhly na téže lokalitě v lesích společnosti Lesy ČR, s.p. v revíru Šilheřovice. Vysazovány byly varianty krytokořenné a prostokořenné obou rostlinných druhů. Práce dále popisuje oba druhy a rozebírá problematiku pěstování krytokořenného a prostokořenného sadebního materiálu. Také se práce snaží přiblížit problematiku obnovy lesa, kde si klade za dílčí cíl uvést současnou situaci změny klimatu a jejího následného vývoje a dopadu na obnovu lesa. Vstupními informacemi pro následné zpracování a vyhodnocení pomocí statistické metody T-test (Studentův test) se staly informace získané pomocí měření v terénu. Měřeny byly přírůsty nadzemních částí, velikosti kořenového krčku, délky a šířky listů, barva listů a ztráty. Vše bylo zaznamenáváno na náhodně vybraném vzorku semenáčků v řádu 100 kusů na jednu variantu.Na základě těchto údajů práce vyhodnocuje, která z obou variant je vhodnější pro výsadbu v zimním období v tomto revíru. Bylo zjištěno, že pro vybranou lokalitu v tomto roce výsadby je vhodnější pro rostliny dubu letního zimní období výsadby, konkrétně krytokořenná varianta. Pro buk lesní se nejvíce osvědčila opět varianta krytokořenná, ale sázená v období jara.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issues of planting in two different months of the same year. Winter planting (7.-8. 2. 2018) and spring planting (9. 4. 2018) of Fagus sylvatica L. and Quercus robur L. seedlings. Both plantings were made in forests of the company Lesy ČR s.p. in district Šilheřovice. Variants with the root system covered and not covered were planted for both of the plant species. The thesis also describes both plant species and the ways of planting of both variants of planting material. It also describes the problems of forest replenishment and it’s difficulties during the environmental changes.The data that were gathered in terrain were processed with use of statistical method T-test (Student’s test). Grow lengths of the above ground parts were measured, length and width of leaves, also the width of the root collar. All were measured on the randomly taken 100 plants for each variant.On base of this information the thesis concludes which of the variants of root coverage and year period is best for planting in this district. It was discover that for this locality and in this year the planting was most successful for Quercus robur in winter time and in root covered variant. For Fagus sylvatica the best planting time was spring and also the root covered variant.
